We offer a private orthodontic service to adults and children with a range of treatment options to suit different time scales, aesthetic preferences and budgets. Treatment choices are in part dependent on the initial position of the teeth and their occlusion (bite).
For children, choosing to have treatment privately will mean a greater choice of appliance options and the benefit of starting as soon as possible. If on assessment we find that your child qualifies for NHS treatment, we will inform you and you will be given the option of being referred onto the waiting list of a local NHS orthodontic provider.
Conventional stainless steel fixed braces
These are the traditional metal braces and the most cost effective option, but still give fast, reliable and beautiful results.
Versatile coloured elastics can make these unique, personalized and more fun to wear, or the appliances can be toned down with silver or tooth coloured elastics.
Iconix (champagne coloured) fixed braces
Iconix stainless steel champagne colored brackets truly offer the best of both worlds – the durability of stainless steel and the aesthetics of “white” gold. A unique proprietary process ensures these brackets will stay champagne for the duration of treatment
Ceramic (tooth coloured) fixed braces
The translucent ceramic material of these appliances blends with the colour of your teeth. It is more discrete and will resist staining or discolouration throughout your treatment.
Invisalign appliances unobtrusively straighten teeth using a series of removable, almost invisible aligners that are custom-made to your teeth for comfort. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move gradually towards the final projected position.
The ‘Lite’ option is for milder cases
The ‘Teen’ option is specially tailored to teenagers
These aligners are removable, aesthetic, convenient and easy to clean
Lingual braces can achieve high levels of both aesthetic acceptability and treatment accuracy.
Incognito lingual braces
Incognito braces are an advanced generation of fixed brace that is hidden discreetly on the back of the teeth, rather than on the front like conventional ‘train tracks’. This allows the patient to go about their daily routine without feeling self-conscious because the braces are virtually invisible from the outside. Incognito braces are custom made to maximise comfort and ensure
precise results, this is achieved by using the latest computer technology when
creating the brace.
Forestadent 2D lingual braces
Forestadent 2D lingual appliances are another alternative in lingual braces, giving quick visible results with minimal impairment of speech or eating. The braces are fitted behind the teeth and are a more economical option for minor alignment cases.
